Ladies’ Night at the Well
Sligo Drama Circle takes to the stage on Saturday March 8th as part of the entertainment for “Ladies’ Night at the Well” – a night celebrating the role of women in the arts in the Hawk’s Well Theatre, Sligo. March 8th marks International Women’s Day, a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.
As part of this night of celebration in the Hawk’s Well Theatre, Sligo Drama Circle will be performing a scene from the recent hugely successful production of Oscar Wilde’s comedy, “The Importance of Being Earnest” which played to bumper crowds in the Hawk’s Well Theatre last November. We will be performing the “Garden Scene” between Cecily and Gwendolyn, a scene which always went down well with audiences every evening.
Hosted by actress Pauline Mc Lynn, the night will be filled with music, laughter, drama, poetry and dance featuring: Niamh McGrath, Nichola MacEvilly, Jenny Tufts, Niamh Crowley, Sinead Conway, Fiona Maria Fitzpatrick, Tara Baoth Mooney, Domhan and many more.
Booking is now open for this great night of entertainment via the Hawk’s Well Theatre website: https://www.hawkswell.com/whats-on/shows/ladies-night-2 or via the Box Office on (071) 916 1518.
