Night Must FallSligo Drama Circle presents “Night Must Fall” from Tuesday 12th to Saturday 16th February at 8:30pm. “Night Must Fall” is a tantalising detective thriller, full of murder, mystery, suspense and romance. Sligo’s own Walter Mc Donagh has been planning this revival for some time, one which he feels is long overdue. Back in 1956, Sligo’s very prominent Bernadette Players presented a very successful production of “Night Must Fall” in the Town Hall. The company had the late Gerry Westby as Director with the late Tom Palmer and Enda Horan on stage. Also in the line-up were Kay Guinane, Mary Watson and Eithne Dolan.

For the February 1991 revival, director Walter has assembled a very experienced cast. Taking on the exacting role of Mrs. Bremson is Cliodhna Howley while Dave Mc Keon has the intriguing role of Dan. Also on stage are Noreen Egan, Siobhán Dooney, Muireann O’ Neill, Damien Quinn, Seán Burke, Ruth Marshall and Bill HIckey – a cast which have featured in many prominent roles in past productions. “Night Must Fall” deserves its eminent status as a classic detective thriller. The proceeds of the opening night go to the Sligo Social Services Centre.
